„what remains“ is part of a series of performances and exhibitions about the nature and characteristics of circus. The artist builds installations from former circus props and uses them to reinterpret circus. Using a very personal approach, questions are raised and (own) beliefs are negotiated. In the context of an exhibition setting, circus art meets fine art and performance meets sound design.

„what remains“ ist Teil einer Reihe von Performances und Ausstellungen über Wesen und Charakteristika des Zirkus. Der Künstler baut aus ehemaligen Zirkus-Requisiten Installationen und benutzt diese, um Zirkus neu zu interpretieren. Mittels eines sehr persönlichen Zugangs werden Fragen aufgeworfen und (eigene) Überzeugungen verhandelt. Im Rahmen eines Ausstellungs-Settings trifft Zirkuskunst auf Bildende Kunst sowie Performance auf Sounddesign.
